Once you inquire, we’ll set up a time to connect — whether that’s over coffee or by phone — to talk through your vision and make sure we’re the perfect fit. After our conversation, a signed contract and 25% nonrefundable retainer (via cash or check) officially reserve your date, and from there I’ll help you tailor your photography package and stay connected leading up to your wedding day so everything feels seamless.

1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely! I’m based in Bellingham, Washington and serve the Pacific Northwest, but I am always ready to travel for destination weddings. Whether you’re planning a coastal celebration, a mountain elopement, or a wedding across the country (or world!), I would love to be there.

Travel collections are custom-quoted based on location, and I keep the process simple and transparent so you can focus on celebrating. Wherever your love story takes you — I’m in.

2. Do you help with planning our engagement session?

Absolutely! I don’t just show up with a camera, I help you plan the entire vibe. From choosing the perfect location (mountains, beach, downtown, cozy in-home, you name it) to outfit guidance and timing for that dreamy golden light, I’ll walk you through it all.

My goal is for your session to feel effortless and fun not awkward or stressful. I’ll send planning tips, help coordinate details, and guide you naturally during the shoot so you can just focus on being together.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

A signed contract and retainer are required to reserve your date. Because I take on a limited number of weddings and sessions each year, retainers are non-refundable.

If you need to reschedule, I’m always happy to work with you to find a new date based on availability. Life happens, and I truly understand that. My goal is to be as flexible and supportive as possible while protecting the time reserved for you.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

Yes! All of my wedding and session collections include high-resolution digital images delivered in a private online gallery with a print release.

From there, you’ll also have access to professional-quality prints, heirloom albums, and wall art directly through your gallery. I always recommend investing in tangible pieces. Your memories deserve more than just living on a screen.

If you’d like something custom, I’m happy to help design an album or create a print package that fits your vision.

5. Do you have a recommended videographer?

Yes! I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside some incredibly talented videographers and am always happy to share trusted recommendations. I value professionals who are collaborative, kind, and focused on creating a seamless experience for you.

If you already have a videographer in mind, I’m more than happy to connect with them ahead of time to ensure we work together smoothly on your wedding day.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Of course! If there are specific poses, Pinterest inspiration, or meaningful details you’d love captured, I’m always happy to incorporate them.

At the same time, I’ll gently guide you with natural prompts and movement so your photos feel effortless and authentic, never stiff or overly posed. The best images happen when you’re relaxed and truly present, and I’ll make sure we create a balance of both vision and spontaneity.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Absolutely! I love connecting before your session so you feel comfortable and excited going in. We can chat over coffee locally in Bellingham or schedule a phone or video call — whatever feels easiest for you.

Getting to know you beforehand helps your session feel natural, relaxed, and truly reflective of who you are. By the time we meet for photos, it won’t feel like you’re standing in front of a stranger, it’ll feel easy and fun.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

For portrait sessions, you can expect your fully edited gallery within 2–3 weeks. Weddings are delivered within 6–8 weeks, depending on the season.

I know how exciting it is to relive everything, so I always send a sneak peek within 48–72 hours so you have a few beautiful images to share and enjoy right away.

Your full gallery will be delivered online in high resolution, ready to download, print, and relive all over again.
